Following a sold-out performance in 2025, the Australian Musical Theatre Festival and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra reunite for Broadway Showstoppers.

Featuring the power of a symphonic orchestra alongside some of the nation’s brightest musical theatre stars, Broadway Showstoppers journeys from Rogers and Hammerstein to Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cole Poter to the Gershwins and more. Lighting up Launceston’s Albert Hall with the biggest hits from the world’s greatest shows, this one-night-only performance is the ultimate, toe-tapping celebration of musical theatre.

The V8 Supercars recently announced their 2026 race schedule, with their annual visit to Northern Tasmania planned for the same weekend as Broadway Showstoppers.
