
At VCA, she was awarded the Dr. Richard Simmie Prize for excellence and her latest roles were Janet in The Drowsy Chaperone (dir. Alister Smith) and Florinda in Into The Woods (dir. Ylaria Rogers). Additionally, she has performed as a featured artist in Morning Melodies at Hamer Hall (dir. Jayde Kirchet), ensemble in Nine (dir. Tyran Parke), and ensemble in Curtains (dir. Roger Hodgeman).
Marina is originally from Arizona, USA, where she began dancing at three with the School of Ballet Arizona (SBAZ). She danced 40 hours a week, taking classes in contemporary, jazz, Horton, flamenco, and Martha Graham technique, and was performing with SBAZ, in ballets such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia and more. She received training scholarships from the English National Ballet School, American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, and SBAZ. From the age of thirteen, she began performing with the professional company Ballet Arizona, in ballets like Symphony in III Movements & The Nutcracker, and continued to dance with the corps de ballet until leaving the US in 2020.
