Dana’s career began at 9, playing babyLouise in “Gypsy”, at Her Majesty’s Theatre Melbourne. She then went on to train at The Victorian College of Arts School Of Dance, before moving to London.
Dana had a very successful career performing and choreographing in the UK, Europe and Scandinavia for over 10 years, before returning back to Melbourne as Resident Choreographer for Broadway choreographer Susan Stroman and director Hal Prince.
Dana’s choreography credits include 12 musicals for The Production Company including, Anything Goes, Kiss Me Kate, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Follies, Little Me, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Grey Gardens, Show Boat, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Curtains, A Gentleman’s Guide To Love And Murder, and Ragtime. Other choreographic credits include, The Who's Tommy for Victorian Opera at The Palais Theatre St Kilda, Fiddler On The Roof Melbourne & Sydney, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Australian Tour, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels for Sydney’s Theatre Royal, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown for Alex Theatre, Jumpy and Last Man Standing for Melbourne Theatre Company, the Adelaide Cabaret Festival, Everybody Loves Rhonda for Rhonda Burchmore, the re-opening launch of the ACMI Melbourne, So You Think You Can Dance, the AFL Grand Final entertainment, the Royal Variety Performance London, Miss World Competition London, International Festivals in Malaysia and the UK, and numerous television shows and commercials in both London and Australia.
Dana is also the founder of her companies Voltage International Productions, VIP Studios and the Music Theatre Mentorship Programs.
She is thrilled to be back choreographing for John Foreman’s Australian Pops Orchestra and the New Years Eve Gala concert 2022.
