Alana has spent over two decades performing in award winning community music theatre productions across Melbourne and here at home in Tasmania. This has allowed her the joy of being involved in professional-level theatre, on top of her regular and less creative day jobs. Her lead credits include Wicked and Mary Poppins (Encore Theatre Company), The Producers (OSMaD), The Wild Party (Four Letter World Theatre), Sweet Charity (WMTC and BustCo), Chicago (WMTC), Spring Awakening (Fab Nobs), Miss Saigon and The Man of La Mancha (CLOC), Aida (Whitehorse Music Theatre), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Catchment Players), Bare: A Pop Opera (Shoosh Productions), Rent (Devanesen Productions), The Witches of Eastwick (ARC), Follies (Nova), Godspell (LMS) and Anything Goes (Launceston Players).
Always a bridesmaid, Alana has been nominated 8 times for best Lead and Supporting Actress for the Music Theatre Guild of Victoria and another 2 times for best Supporting Actress for the Tasmanian Theatre Awards.
In May next year, Alana will play ‘Katherine’ in Devonport Choral Society’s Freaky Friday.
