Aaron Beck

10 years is the amount of time that Aaron hasbeen involved with the Launceston theatre scene!

From being an ensemble member in 2014 to now, he has loved the challenges that have been put in front of him and always strives to learn, develop and hone his craft.

 

He has worked with almost all the local companies in some form or another, including Launceston Players, Three River Theatre, Adaptivity Theatre Company, Mudlark Theatre, Launceston Musical Society, Happy Habits and Encore Theatre Company. This will be his 4th time being involved with the Australian Musical Theatre Festival.

 

Aaron’s most recent theatrical endeavours have included puppeteering Bruce the Dog in Happy Habits' school tour of Mother Nature, Mary Sunshine in Chicago, Bob Gaudio in Jersey Boys (where he received Best Male Leading Performer at the Tasmanian Theatre Awards), Dee Anthony and Dick Woolnough in The Boy from Oz, was an actor in Mudlark’s One Day and in March of this year he played Walter De Courcey in Chess: The Musical. He is also currently rehearsing for Encore Theatre Company’s farcical production of The 39 Steps.

 

Singing, Dancing and Acting is such a hugepassion for Aaron and he looks forward to seeing where his passion takes himover the next 10 years.
