Natalie Gilhome

Natalie has been involved in numerous productions in Australia, Asia, Europe and New York. She most recently worked on the casting for the International Tour of The Phantom of the Opera for the China season in 2021. Natalie was Casting Director for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical School of Rock in Australia and Korea, and West Side Story touring Australia, New Zealand and Germany for GWB Entertainment. She is also a Casting Associate for Disneyland Paris.

Natalie has established herself as a Resident Director internationally and is currently working on the Royal Shakespeare Company/GWB Entertainment’s International Tour of Matilda the Musical. Prior to this she was Resident Director/Choreographer on the critically acclaimed Australian production of Dream Lover in Melbourne, and the Australian tour of Ghost the Musical in 2016. That same year she was Assistant Director on West Side Story and Jerry’s Girls for The Production Company (TPC). In 2015 Natalie assisted Helpmann Award-winning choreographer Andrew Hallsworth on Anything Goes and prior to this, she was seen on stage in Sweet Charity, on which she was also Assistant Director. Natalie was Resident Director/Choreographer on the successful Australian tour of Grease from 2013-2015 and was Assistant Director/Choreographer for TPC on La Cage Aux Folles in 2014 and Gypsy in 2013.

In 2011, Natalie joined Priscilla Queen of the Desert as an Associate Choreographer on international productions, and also cast the UK tour and Swedish production. In Australia she was Associate Choreographer for, and performed in The Secret Garden, Man of La Mancha, and The Sound of Music, The Full Monty and South Pacific.

Her performance credits also include Fiddler On The Roof, The Wizard of Oz, and Cats. For The Production Company, Natalie performed in She Loves Me, Mack and Mabel, South Pacific, Anything Goes, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Annie Get Your Gun.

Natalie has lived in London and New York City, where she was a Project Manager/ Senior Producer for entertainment company Running Subway Productions for six years, producing live entertainment such as Dr Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas!

 

The Musical and the multimedia event Judy Garland with the Boston Pops Orchestra, as well as commercial touring museum exhibits such as Terracotta Warriors, Pompeii The Exhibit, and the Dead Sea Scrolls: The Exhibition.
