Music Theatre In Schools
Time & Location
About the Event
This workshop is designed for any teacher engaged in delivering musical theatre and performance programs in their school.
Working with a performing arts education expert, this workshop will cover the essential elements of creating musical theatre in a school setting including effective and efficient audition strategies, how to approach direction, musical direction and choreography, how to use a large cast in a meaningful way, and how to ensure you have the support you need to deliver the project.
The workshop will also explore how you as a teacher/director could challenge young actors to extend what they do within rehearsals in order to feel confident to take theatrical risks to enhance their performance.
