About the Event

Auditioning is a skill in itself. So many great performers wish to be in ‘the room where it happens’ so they can better understand the best ways to make this inevitable process work for them. Casting Director, Natalie Gilhome has worked with many children in Professional Musical Theatre including The Secret Garden, The Sound of Music, Dream Lover, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Matilda and been responsible for casting Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘School of Rock’ in Australia. If there’s someone who understands the process of auditioning for children or beginners, it is Natalie. Joined by Musical Director, Amanda Hodder will guide you through the do’s and don’ts of audition rooms, how to control your nerves, choose appropriate material and be your best under pressure!

“We can do it, we can do it This is not the time to shirk We can do it, you won’t rue it Say goodbye to petty clerk” The Producers
