She debuted professionally in Guys & Dolls understudying Lisa McCune as Sarah Brown, then travelled to Korea with Jekyll & Hyde understudying Lucy Maunder as Emma. Emily also toured Australia in the musical Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang understudying Rachael Beck as ‘Truly Scrumptious’. She had the good fortune to
perform this romantic lead on the professional Australian stage numerous times.
Emily was recently in Fire in the Head playing Kate Kelly in the story of her life. She was in Production Companies Showboat, and Loving Repeating & The Songs of Alan Menken at Chapel off Chapel.
On screen Emily played leads in the feature films Only the Young Die Good and The Last of the Living.

The Australian Musical Theatre Festival acknowledges the traditional owners of this island lutruwita (Tasmania).
This festival takes place on the country around kanamaluka/River Tamar, where two original tribes converged, the litarimirina and the panina people.
It is our hope that this Festival will celebrate storytelling for years to come, while honouring the stories that have come before us on this land.
(Names of tribes and places in palawa kani are used with approval of the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre.)
